Gone Fishin'

October 01, 2011

This summer was one of the best I have had! It's fun to always have a best friend to do everything with. Marriage definitely beats single life and dating random boys you don't even like. I love that I always get to go on dates with the one guy I love! Oh, life is good!  I spent time learning how to live with a boy, cook, fish, get rid of spiders infesting our home, finish an 1,000 piece puzzle with my hubby, get laundry detergent out of carpet, how to be Primary 1st Counselor, and how to balance life. We took a few trips and i just wanted to post some pictures of our summer lovin' experiences. This is our first trip to the Bennett cabin in Pine Top, Arizona. It was fun wearing fishing overalls and learning how to do boyish things. I have to admit I am a pretty good fisherwoman, even though I didn't catch a dang thing. Maybe it's because I was too scared to put the worms on the hook:)

We went out on the lake in these rafts. It was fun to dip our feet in and fish at the same time! Hunter was in fish heaven. It started thunder-storming and I thought I was going to get struck by lightning in the middle of that lake. It was scary!

Coolest picture ever. We saw this random little tree in the middle of nowhere. I want to blow it up and put it on our wall!

My first experience seeing a double rainbow! Such good luck!

                                                           What are you looking at?
Snowflake Temple. We have a goal to visit every temple in the world together. One step closer.
Our Pine Top fishing trip reminded me of our first date. Hunter surprised me and and we went fishing in Gilbert! It was the best date ever. Oh, we have come so far since that first date. I'd fish with him everyday if I could...He's the best catch of all :)
